Infusion Center

For the convenience of our patients, we offer infusions in our office. Our infusion room accommodates up to eight patients with optional privacy screens between the chairs.

Medications we are currently infusing for Rheumatoid Arthritis are:

• Simponi Aria
• Remicade
• Rituxan
• Orencia
• Actemra
• Benlysta
• Cimzia

Medications we are currently infusing for Osteopenia or Osteoporosis are:

• Reclast
• Prolia

Our physicians will consult with you regarding the best treatment for your particular condition.

Labs, X-Rays & Diagnostic Tests

We have an in house lab. Tests may be processed in our office or sent to a contracted lab authorized by your insurance company. Our office staff can answer your specific lab billing questions.

At the time of your visit, the office staff will make arrangements for any x-ray or diagnostic studies the doctor has ordered. Unless there are abnormalities on any of these tests which the doctor feels should be discussed before your next visit, the results will be discussed with you when you return.

Bone Density Scan

A bone mineral density (BMD) test, also called DXA scan, can help you evaluate your bone health. Through the use of low dose x-ray techniques we can determine many factors including:

• Bone Mass
• Bone Health
• Bone Strength
• Risk of Fracture

This technique allows us to determine whether you have osteopenia or osteoporosis.

Getting a BMD test doesn’t require any special preparation. You don’t even have to undress. The DXA scanner passes over your body, reading your bone density in different areas. Your doctor will explain the results to you at your next visit.

If you are already being treated for osteoporosis, your doctor may order a follow-up DXA test to see how you are doing.
